Casey Depending on what dictionary website you refer to change is defined as: To make different, to alter, to give a different position, course or direction to and; to replace one with another.
So it seems pretty simple and straight forward, right?
If it is so simple then what makes it so hard for us to accept change? If I look at my life I can easily see that I am exactly where I am from the choices I have made in my past. This is really nothing more than the change I have allowed or not allowed into my life.
Change is not right or wrong. It’s not good or bad. It just is. Anything I add is just my personal judgment or perception.
So last night as KC and I struggled for what seemed to be forever on picking out a website, I became quite clear on how resistant I can be to change.
I was totally against using a website with anything other than .com. I then had to laugh about how trivial things can be.
The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t matter if we use .com, .net, .me, .asia, .whatever. Seriosuly. If someone wants to find me they will... if there is interest they will stay.
A little marketing does not hurt but that is really all it is! Were glad you’re here and we hope you stay. A new direction is just that... A new direction.
I want to leave you with a quote before I go.
“If we don’t change direction soon, we’ll end up where were going”
- Professor Irwin Corey
