Kingsley As I boarded my United flight (my fourth this calendar week), I was once again confronted with the reality that I'm moving as fast as I can in an ever changing environment. Almost a hamster wheel has landed its axis on my forehead...
Nah. I created that. I just talked to Casey and the same bizarre hamster wheel has been planted stationary in his office all week. He created that, as well.
Back to the airplane. If United was more straight about departure times and the reasons therein, I might have more confidence and not feel like they planted that axis squarely on my forehead, yet again. I love first class and all, but what a pack of liars. It's like they have been taking consulting lessons from the Cheney school of BS. Master BS Cum Laude. Liar, liar, pants on fire. Odd. Two hours later. I sit in my hotel room. One leg left on my ten day journey to knowledge and information.
As two motivated, impressionable guys we can't make our world roll like we choose our world to roll. After landing I sent Casey a text message telling him "I'm swimming as fast as I can..."
There's no need. I wanted to retract it.
We are launched and loaded on playing the game(s) we choose. We just get caught in others games, often out of respect and loyalty. We often think the hours are passing, but there IS somewhere we are going. Eating some BS along the way, eating some asphalt -- as it may.
When you focus, produce and live into your plan and vision -- you go somewhere.
Somewhere great.
